Messy Art

What Is Messy Art?

Messy art is fun. You use paint, glue, and bright colors. It can be squishy, sticky, and splashy.

Things You Need

  • Paint in big cups
  • A big tray or paper
  • Sponges, brushes, and fingers
  • Old clothes or a smock

How to Make It

  1. Put paint on the tray.
  2. Touch the paint with your fingers.
  3. Spread, swirl, and splash.
  4. Look at the bright colors you made.

Clean Up

Ask a grown‑up to help. Wash your hands with soap. Put the paint back in the lid. Hang your art to dry.

Enjoy the mess and make lots of happy art!

Volcanoes grow where tectonic plates collide or drift apart. Heat melts rock into light, buoyant magma that rises, cools, and hardens near the surface, building the cone layer by layer.
