What We See

1. Colorful Floats

Big, big trucks called Floats roll by.
Red, blue, yellow, green—Red, Blue, Yellow, Green!
We can count the wheels: 1, 2, 3, 4 wheels on each float.

2. Music and Sound

Boom‑boom goes the drum.
Toot‑toot goes the trumpet.
Kids clap, clap, clap and shout, “Yay!” The sound makes us feel Happy and Excited.

3. People in the Parade

People wear shiny hats and bright costumes.
They wave Hello, Hello and smile Big, Big.
We see 2 dancers, 3 singers, and 4 drummers marching Step‑step.

Simple Activity – Make a Parade Band!

1. Take an empty paper towel roll.
2. Tap a wooden spoon on it – Tap, Tap, Tap (that’s your drum!).
3. Walk around the room marching “Left, Right, Left, Right.”
4. Wave a bright scarf and shout “Yay!”
