Presents are bright gifts. We see them at birthdays, holidays, and special days. They make us smile and say “Wow!”

What Is a Present?

• A present is a Box or Bag with a surprise inside.
• It can be Red, Blue, Yellow, or Green.
• We Wrap it with paper: wrap, wrap, wrap.

Giving a Present

1. One present, Two presents, Three presents—count together!
2. We say “Here You Go!” and hear a soft Rustle of paper.
3. The friend opens it with a little Pop and says “Thank You!”

Feelings and Sounds

• Happy, Excited, Surprised—feelings we feel when we get a present.
• Hear the Crinkle of wrapping, the Giggle of a child, the Cheer of friends.

Simple Activity: Make a Pretend Present

1. Find a small box or a cup.
2. Cover it with a piece of bright paper.
3. Put a toy or a drawing inside.
4. Count the presents: “One, two, three!” and give them to a family member.
