We love to wear things that keep us warm. Today we look at Hats and Mittens. They are soft, bright, and fun!

1. Hats – on the Head

  • A hat sits On our head.
  • Red hat, blue hat, yellow hat – Red, Blue, Yellow.
  • We can count: One hat, Two hats, Three hats.
  • Hats make us feel Happy when it is cold.
  • When we put a hat on, we say β€œTap Tap” on the head.

2. Mittens – on the Hands

  • Mittens cover both fingers together.
  • Green mittens, pink mittens, orange mittens – Green, Pink, Orange.
  • Count the mittens: One mitten, Two mittens.
  • Mittens keep our hands Warm and Cozy.
  • When we shake hands with mittens we hear a soft β€œWhoosh”.

Simple Activity – Hat & Mitten Hunt

  1. Look around the room.
  2. Find Two hats and Two mittens.
  3. Touch each one and say its color: β€œRed hat! Blue mitten!”
  4. Clap Once for each hat, Twice for each mitten.
