🦷 the Friendly Dentist in Our Neighborhood

Introduction

We live in a town with many helpers. One special helper is the Dentist. The dentist keeps our smiles bright and healthy.

Who Is a Dentist?

The dentist wears a white coat and a big smile.
The dentist says “hello!” and we say “hello!”
The dentist is kind, gentle, and loves clean teeth.

What Does the Dentist Do?

  1. Count The Teeth – 1, 2, 3, 4… up to 20 in the top and 20 in the bottom!
  2. Listen – “click, click” of the tiny mirror.
  3. Clean – the brush goes “scrub, scrub, scrub” on each tooth.
  4. Check – the dentist says “all good!” or “let’s fix this spot.”

We feel Happy when the dentist says “you did great!” and sometimes a little Nervous, but the dentist’s calm voice and gentle hands make us feel safe.

Why Visit the Dentist?

Because clean teeth help us chew yummy food, smile wide, and laugh loud. The dentist helps keep our teeth strong so we can say “YAY!” every day.

Simple Activity – Pretend Dentist Play

  1. Gather a clean toothbrush, a small cup, and a toy doll.
  2. Count the doll’s teeth: “One, two, three…”
  3. Gently brush each tooth while saying “brush, brush, brush.”
  4. Give the doll a big smile and say “All done! Great job!”

Conclusion

Next time you see a dentist, remember they are a friendly neighbor who loves bright smiles. Ask a grown‑up to visit the dentist’s office and discover more about this caring community helper! 🌟

How Volcanoes Form

From Magma to Mountain

Volcanoes grow where tectonic plates collide or drift apart. Heat melts rock into light, buoyant magma that rises, cools, and hardens near the surface, building the cone layer by layer.
