🎶 Drum and Shaker Fun!

Hello little friends! Today we will play with Drums and Shakers. They make happy sounds that make us want to dance.

1. Meet the Drum

  • The drum is round and Big like a happy balloon.
  • When you tap it with a stick, it says Boom, Boom, Boom!
  • Try counting: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 taps.

2. Meet the Shaker

  • The shaker is a tiny box that you hold in your hand.
  • Shake it fast and it goes Shhh‑shhh‑shhh or slow and it goes Whoosh‑whoosh.
  • Count the shakes: 1 Shake, 2 Shakes, 3 Shakes, 4 Shakes, 5 Shakes.

3. Feel the Music

  • Drums feel Loud and Strong.
  • Shakers feel Soft and Jumpy.
  • When you play, you can feel Happy, Excited, or Calm.

Simple Activity – Make Your Own Shaker

  1. Find an empty plastic bottle.
  2. Put a little rice or beans inside (just a spoonful).

How Volcanoes Form

Volcanoes grow where tectonic plates collide or drift apart. Heat melts rock into light, buoyant magma that rises, cools, and hardens near the surface, building the cone layer by layer.
