A pattern is something that repeats.
It can be colors, shapes, or sounds that come again and again.

Finding Patterns

Look around you.
The stripes on a zebra are a pattern.
The beats in a song are a pattern.
When you see the same thing over and over, you have found a pattern.

Make Your Own

Pick three toys: a ball, a block, a ball.
Put them in the same order: ball, block, ball.
Now add another block, another ball.
You have made a pattern!
