🎨 Mixing Magic!

Hello, little scientist! Today we will have fun Mixing Things. We will see new colors, hear funny sounds, and feel happy when things change.

1. Mixing Colors

Take a red cup, a blue cup, and a yellow cup.

  • One drop of red + One drop of blue = Purpleswish, swish!
  • Two drops of yellow + Two drops of blue = Greenglug, glug!

Look! The colors Mix and become brand‑new. We can say “Wow! That’s a pretty purple!” and smile 😊.

2. Mixing Water and Sand

Fill a bowl with water. Add a little sand.

  • Splash! Splash! The sand goes whoosh into the water.
  • Count the grains: One, Two, Three… and watch them sink or float.

Feel the cool water, hear the soft Squelch, and notice the sand makes the water Different.

3. Mixing Sounds

Clap your hands Once, then Twice, then Three Times.

  • Clap‑clap, Clap‑clap‑clap, Clap‑clap‑clap‑clap.

Now tap a spoon on a pot: Clink‑clink. Hear how the sounds Mix together? It’s a little music!

Simple Activity: Color‑water Mix

  1. Get a clear cup, some water, and a drop of food coloring.
  2. Drop One color in the water.
  3. Stir with a spoon – Swirl, Swirl.

Watch the water change! You can try Two colors and see a new shade appear.
