🌊 Sinking Toys: Fun in the Water!

Introduction

Hello little explorer! Today we will play with toys that Sink. We will see why some toys go down, down, down in the water.

1. What Sinks?

  • Heavy toys like a Metal Car go splash, splash and sink.
  • Soft toys like a Rubber Duck float up, up and stay on top.

Count Together: 1 metal car, 2 blocks, 3 stones – all sink!

2. Feelings and Sounds

When a toy sinks, it makes a Splash!

  • Happy: “Wow! Look it go down!”
  • Surprised: “Oh! It disappeared!”

We can say the sound: “Splish‑splash, Splish‑splash!”

3. Colorful Sinking

Red blocks, blue balls, green stones – all can sink.
We say it again: Sink, sink, sink!

Simple Activity: Sink or Float Test

  1. Fill a shallow bowl with water.
  2. Pick three toys: a Metal Spoon, a Plastic Cup, and a Soft Ball.
  3. One by one, Drop each toy.
  4. Watch and say: “It sinks!” or “It floats!”

You can Clap when a toy sinks and Cheer when it floats.

Conclusion

Great job, little scientist! Keep looking at your toys in the bathtub, the pool, or a puddle. Ask “Will it sink or float?” and discover more Splish‑splash adventures. 🌟

How Volcanoes Form

From Magma to Mountain

Volcanoes grow where tectonic plates collide or drift apart. Heat melts rock into light, buoyant magma that rises, cools, and hardens near the surface, building the cone layer by layer.
