🌟 Peek Through the Telescope

Introduction

Hello, little explorer! Today we use a Telescope to look at the big, bright space. It is fun, it is bright, and it makes us say “wow!”

1. What Is a Telescope?

A telescope is a Long, Shiny Tube.
Look! Look! You hold it up and say “whoosh!”
It helps our eyes see far, far away—like a magic window.

2. What Can We See?

When we point the telescope up:

  • 1 tiny, twinkly star ✨
  • 2 bright moons that glow
  • 3 big, blue planets that spin

We see colors: red, orange, green, blue. The stars Twinkle, Twinkle like tiny night lights.

We feel happy, excited, and a little bit amazed. “Wow! Look at that!”

Simple Activity – Telescope Pretend Play

  1. Find a cardboard tube (or make one with a paper towel roll).
  2. Paint it Blue or Silver.
  3. Hold it up and say “whoosh, whoosh” as you look at the ceiling.
  4. Count the “stars” you pretend you see: 1, 2, 3, 4…

You can even draw the stars on a paper after you finish!

Conclusion

Great job, space explorer! Keep your eyes wide, your heart happy, and your telescope ready. The sky is full of wonders—just waiting for you to peek and discover. 🌙🚀

How Volcanoes Form

From Magma to Mountain

Volcanoes grow where tectonic plates collide or drift apart. Heat melts rock into light, buoyant magma that rises, cools, and hardens near the surface, building the cone layer by layer.
