🚲 Scooters Zoom!

Scooters are fun rides. They have two wheels, a long board, and a little handle. You can push with your foot and feel the wind. Let’s learn about scooters!

1. What a Scooter Looks Like

• Red, Blue, Green – scooters can be many bright colors.
• Two Wheels – count together: 1, 2 – two wheels spin round.
• A Long Board – you stand on the board.
• A Handle – you hold the handle and say “Whoa!”

Sound: whoosh whoosh as the wheels turn.

2. How We Feel on a Scooter

• Happy – “I am happy when I ride.”
• Excited – “Zoom! Zoom! I feel excited!”
• Safe – “I wear a helmet, so I feel safe.”

Sound: ding when you stop and say “All done!”

3. Riding the Scooter (repeat & Count)

1. Put one foot on the board.
2. Push with the other foot.
3. Count the pushes: One, Two, Three – push, push, push!
4. Hear the wheels: whir, whir.

Repeat: “Scooter goes whee! Scooter goes whee!”

Simple Activity – Scooter Counting Game

• Find a toy scooter or draw one.
• Count the wheels: 1, 2.
• Count the colors: Red, Blue, Green – say each color out loud.
• Clap for every “whoosh” sound you make.
