What Does “endangered” Mean?

When an animal is Endangered, there are very few left in the world.
They can disappear if we do not help them.

Animals That Need Help

• Panda – lives in forests with lots of bamboo.
• Sea Turtle – lays eggs on beaches, but many eggs are taken.
• Elephant – has big ears and a long trunk, but people hunt them for ivory.

How We Can Help

• Plant Trees – trees give homes to many animals.
• Recycle – less trash means cleaner water for fish and turtles.
• Learn And Share – tell friends why animals need our care.

Every small act can keep these wonderful creatures safe.
