🏫 Stay Safe at School!

Going to school is a big adventure. We learn, play, and make friends. Knowing how to stay safe helps the fun keep going every day.

1. Arriving Safely

  • Walk or ride the bus with a grown‑up you trust.
  • Look both ways before crossing the street, just like a traffic light tells cars to stop.
  • Keep your backpack close so it doesn’t swing and bump into others.

2. in the Classroom

  • Keep your hands and feet to yourself—like a quiet mouse, not a buzzing bee.
  • If you need something, raise your hand and wait for the teacher.
  • Stay in your seat when the teacher says “Sit down, please.” It helps everyone focus and stay safe.

3. Playground Rules

  • Use the slide and swing the right way—go down the slide feet first, sit on the swing, and hold the chains.
  • Share the equipment so no one gets left out or hurt.
  • Stay where a grown‑up can see you, just like a kite stays tied to its string.

4. Emergency Helpers

  • If you hear a fire alarm, line up quietly and walk to the safe spot outside.
  • Look for the teacher or a school helper; they know the “what to do” plan.
  • Remember the word “STOP” – stop, look, and listen for instructions.

How Volcanoes Form

From Magma to Mountain

Volcanoes grow where tectonic plates collide or drift apart. Heat melts rock into light, buoyant magma that rises, cools, and hardens near the surface, building the cone layer by layer.
