What Is Hot?

Hot feels warm.
The sun makes the air hot.

When something is hot, it can make you sweat.

What Is Cold?

Cold feels cool.
Ice and snow are very cold.
A glass of water from the fridge is cold.
When it is cold, you might shiver.

How We Feel Hot and Cold

  • Hot: Your skin gets warm, you might want a drink or a fan.
  • Cold: Your skin feels chilly, you might put on a jacket or a hat.

We can change hot to cool and cold to warm.
A blanket keeps us warm.
A fan helps us feel cool.
