๐ How Rainbows Form
Have you ever seen a rainbow after it rains? Letโs discover how these colorful arcs appear in the sky!
The Recipe for a Rainbow
To make a rainbow, you need two things:
- Sunlight โ๏ธ
- Water Droplets In The Air ๐ง
Thatโs why we see rainbows after rain storms when the sun comes out!
White Lightโs Secret
Sunlight looks white, but itโs actually made of many colors mixed together! When sunlight enters a water droplet, something magical happens:
- The light bends (refracts)
- The colors separate
- They bounce inside the droplet
- They come out as a rainbow!

Rainbow Facts
- You can never reach the end of a rainbow - it moves as you move!
