What Is a Dribble?

A dribble is when you bounce the ball with your hand while you walk or run. It helps you move the ball down the court.

How to Dribble

  1. Hold The Ball with your fingers on top and your palm underneath.
  2. Push The Ball down to the floor.
  3. Watch The Ball as it comes up, then push it again.
  4. Keep your knees bent and stay low.

Practice Tips

  • Start on a soft surface, like a gym mat.
  • Try dribbling with each hand.
  • Count “one, two, three” while you bounce.
  • Play a game of “dribble and stop” with a friend.

Have fun and keep the ball moving!
