🎳 Bowling: Roll, Hit, and Have Fun!

Bowling is a game where you roll a heavy ball down a smooth lane and try to knock over ten wooden pins. It is a sport that families and friends love to play together.

1. What Is Bowling?

  • A Lane is a long, flat road made of wood or plastic.
  • The Ball has three holes for your fingers.
  • At the end of the lane stand Ten Pins in a triangle shape.

2. How to Play

  1. Stand behind the line called the foul line.
  2. Hold the ball, put your fingers in the holes, and swing your arm.
  3. Let the ball roll straight toward the pins.
  4. Count how many pins fall – that is your Score for the turn.

3. Why It’s Fun

  • You can hear a clack‑clack when the pins fall.
  • Each roll is a little surprise – sometimes you knock all the pins down!
  • You can cheer for yourself and for friends.

4. Bowling Vs. Other Games

  • Like Throwing A Ball in the park, you use your arm, but the ball is heavier.
  • Like Building Blocks, you try to make the pins fall in one big tumble.
  • Like Dancing, you move your feet and balance to get a good roll.

How Volcanoes Form

From Magma to Mountain

Volcanoes grow where tectonic plates collide or drift apart. Heat melts rock into light, buoyant magma that rises, cools, and hardens near the surface, building the cone layer by layer.
