What You’ll Need

• 5 index cards
• A timer or phone

How to Play

1. Write one story element on each card: Setting, Character, Conflict, Climax, Resolution.
2. Shuffle the cards and place them face‑down in a pile.
3. Turn over the top three cards. Use them to create the Beginning of your story (setting, character, conflict).
4. Flip the next two cards. They become the Climax and Resolution.
5. Set a timer for 5 minutes. Write your story. When the timer rings, read it aloud and see how the mix‑up worked!
