Team sports are games where a group of friends work together to have fun and try to win. You run, jump, kick, or throw a ball, and you help each other along the way!
1. What Is a Team Sport?
A team sport means More Than One Player is on the same side. Each player has a special job, like a puzzle piece that fits into the picture. When everyone does their part, the team can score points or win the game.
2. Why Play with Others?
- Friendship: You make new friends and learn to share.
- Learning: You learn to listen, take turns, and cheer each other on.
- Health: Running, jumping, and moving keep your body strong and happy.

More than 2,000 years ago, people in China played a ball game called cuju. It involved kicking a ball toward a goal and was one of several early kicking games that came before modern soccer. π
