Protecting Our Planet’s Patchwork: Biodiversity Conservation

Why Biodiversity Matters

Every living thing is a piece of a big puzzle. Plants, animals, insects, and tiny microbes all work together. When one piece disappears, the whole picture can change. Healthy forests give us clean air. Bees help flowers make seeds. Even the soil needs worms to stay rich.

How We Can Help

  • Plant Native Flowers in your garden or in a pot. Native plants give food and homes to local insects and birds.
  • Leave Nature Alone. When you see a nest or a burrow, give it space.
  • Pick Up Litter at the park or beach. Trash can hurt animals and ruin habitats.
  • Recycle And Reuse things like plastic bottles and paper. Less waste means less harm to the earth.

Quick Quiz

How Volcanoes Form

From Magma to Mountain

Volcanoes grow where tectonic plates collide or drift apart. Heat melts rock into light, buoyant magma that rises, cools, and hardens near the surface, building the cone layer by layer.
